HIV Resources

Dealing with a health issue requires the right care and tools. Highmark Wholecare wants to help if you are currently living with Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), could be at risk, or are caring for a person with the virus. This resource center can help you find local services, treatment options and other resources.

Am I at risk of HIV?

HIV can affect anyone, but certain groups are at higher risk. Those that have a higher risk include:

  • Gay and bisexual men of all races and ethnicities
  • African Americans
  • Latinos
  • Injection drug users
  • Transgender individuals

It is recommended that anyone with a higher risk for HIV be tested more often.

Did you know that any adult age 15-65 should get tested for HIV at least once?
