COVID-19 Vaccine Updates

COVID-19 Vaccine: Finding a Provider, Booster Shot Updates and Education

We hope that you are staying healthy and safe. Highmark Wholecare is reaching out with updates about the COVID-19 vaccine.

The COVID-19 vaccines are safe – much safer than getting COVID-19. The vaccines are also effective at preventing severe illness from COVID-19 and limiting the spread of the virus that causes it. This is according to the CDC.

Bottom Line: They are an important tool to help stop the COVID-19 pandemic.

Learn more about vaccine safety from the CDC here.

All Pennsylvanians ages 6 months and older are eligible to be vaccinated.

If you have not yet received a vaccination, we have a dose ready for you. It is critical that as many people as possible get vaccinated. The vaccine is free. You will not pay any out of pocket costs.

Some vaccines require two doses. Don’t forget your second dose, if required!
